LOUNGEFLY DISNEY POCAHONTAS - JUST AROUND THE RIVERBEND CROSSBODY

Pocahontas, much like any Disney film, is full of valuable life lessons. Loungefly’s Just Around The Riverbend collection immortalizes just one of of the many as a bag.

In this beautiful score sung by Judy Kuhn, the earthy Pocahontas teaches us through “Just Around The Riverbend" that you can’t step in the same river twice, because the water is always flowing and changing. People can’t live the same way, she sings, and that to be safe, we lose our chance of ever knowing what’s just around the riverbend - waiting for us to explore.

After cascading down a huge waterfall, Pocahontas, Meeko and Flit find themselves in a serene lake. It’s the very moment that demonstates Pocahontas’ lesson that taking a plunge can lead to grander things. Beautifully illustrated around their canoe in gorgeous blues is that very waterfall, while birds fly high above them.
