ROYAL SELANGOR MARVEL - LIMITED EDITION GILT LOKI JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY VOLUME 1 #85
A limited edition of 200 individually numbered pieces worldwide.
1962s Journey Into Mystery Volume 1 #85 marks God of Mischief Lokis first comic book appearance. Having escaped imprisonment on Asgard, Loki stops at nothing to prove himself superior to his noble foster brother Thor in this classic tale of obsessive ambition and rivalry.
24K gilding imbues illustrator Alan Quah and sculptor Ghim Ongs limited edition Loki with cinematic drama, swaggering arrogantly against a black and white rendition of Jack Kirby, Dick Ayers, Stan Goldberg and Artie Simeks Empire State Building cover art. In pewter, on a composite resin base.
Alan Quah is a respected illustrator in the international comics and collectibles communities. Ghim Ongs strong interest in 3D sculpting has led to his working on Marvel, DC and Disney properties.
About the collection: A project with Marvel Comics, featuring iconic characters and insignia of the Marvel multiverse, this item comes in Official Marvel Licensee packaging.
